Tomorrow is the big day!

Well, tomorrow is the first day at my new job. Today, I spent time with my family and my mom and I got my bedroom set up a little. Got my new bed in there and put my own bedding on it. Definitely will make it feel more like home than before. I hope tomorrow is fun and I hope I come home loving my new job! I already know I like my boss!

Chores....I thought I was a grown up.

So...number 1 biggest change I have found about moving home?....I have to shovel my own walk. What??? Can't we pay people to do that? I guess I have been pretty spoiled the past few years where the maintenance guys have shoveled my walk and scraped the snow off my car. This is going to take some getting used to. But the bonus is, my mommy makes me hot chocolate and cooks me breakfast! Not to say i don't help out. I cleaned her kitchen yesterday, vacumned the carpet this morning, and the other day made a delicious chicken pot pie. I guess it might be kind of nice to have a roomate again. We will see....

The big decision

So, i've been trying to decide what to do with the future and have concluded that I really need to move home and save some money. If i'm going to go back to school and follow my dream, I need to make some smart decisions. So, i'm going to start a blog about my journey in moving home, living with my mom again (gulp), and working towards my goals. I figure this is just a way to let off steam, throw around ideas, and basically just get through the next couple of years. This is the beginning....
